Salient Features of the Institute

Practical Training:

Clinical legal education moot court, pre-trial preparations and participation in trial procedures.

Instructions – Teaching:

The teaching method includes participative classroom teaching, group discussions, seminars, assignments, extension lectures, project presentations, reports, computer applications, moot courts, mock trials and legal and clinical work.

Clinical Method of imparting legal education is an innovative way of teaching to be adopted by the Institute, which integrates actual field work with classroom instructions and tends to reduce the gaps between law in the books and  law in the action.

The Institute will also be inviting eminent scholars, judges, administrators, jurists and other legal luminaries for delivering extensive lectures so that students get necessary exposure to the practical aspects of Law.

Students of Law who wants proficiency in English would receive a value added course in English speaking and get their writing ability professionally toned up.

Extra –Curricular Activities:

The students are encouraged to contribute write-ups in annual Law Magazine in form of writing articles and editorial work. They will be trained in organizing Legal Campus and Lok Adalats, Legal Aid Clinics and to celebrate commemorative days such as Law Day, Legal Services Day, and Human Rights Day etc.
